After level 50 can we still add different perk cards or are we stuck with the ones we chose?
When I leveled up to level 46, I tried to select the Master Rifleman perk card but it said I could not because my Perception skill was maxed out at 15. Does this mean I am stuck with the perk cards that I have in the Perception skill? Because I still need other perk cards in Perception (like the Master Picklock so I can pick level 3 locks).

I was told that after level 50, we can re-distribute the skill points but my question is, after level 50 can we still add different perk cards or are we stuck with the ones we chose?

You can change the perk cards you have equipped at any time.

after level 50, whenever you level up, you get 2 choices.
- Move a point
- Select a perk card (Everything unlocked)

Even before level 50 you can pick a stat of one type and a perk card from another (like get 1 point in luck but pick master rifleman). To do that, pick the stat you want like normal and then use the z,c keys to change the filter and pick a different card type.

So right now I'm at level 46. I can swap a few of the Perception perk cards around but I don't see the Master Picklock or Master Rifleman perk cards available. When I leveled up to level 46, I tried to select the Master Rifleman card but it said I couldn't because my Perception skill was maxed out at 15. After level 50, isn't it still going to say the same thing, that I can't choose any more Perception cards because I'm maxed out?

When you level, you should be able to pick whatever card you want, regardless of your SPECIAL points.

At 50 you can pick any perk card when you level.

Before 50, like next time you level, don't select perception. Instead select another stat you want to raise. Then, on the card selection screen, use the keyboard to change the card filter to perception cards (by default it will filter to the cards for your selected attribute) and pick master rifleman.

Ok I'll try that but I have a feeling when I select the Master Rifleman card (or any card in Perception), I'll get that same message saying that I can't choose that card because my Perception is maxed out. You don't think I'll get that message?

It'll work. I've done it (also with maxed perception).

You'll end up with a SPECIAL point in whatever you chose + the perception card you picked. It means you'll want another card laying around for that other stat from a pack or something otherwise you'll have a point sitting empty since you didn't get a card for it.

Thanks, it worked. So I'm at level 47 right now. Does that mean I only have 3 more points to add to a skill? Right now I have 8 Strength points and 15 Perception points. After level 50, am I able to move some of those Perception points into Strength?

After level 50 you have a choice:

Pick a card or reassign a SPECIAL point.

At level 51, you can either get another card or move a point from perception into strength. Only one point, though. Each time you level up, you'll have the option buying ONE card or moving ONE special point.

When you level up you are actually making two choices.

Choice 1. Which Special to give a point, with the max being 15 in a particular special.
Choice 2. Which perk card do you want to pick. You are not required to pick a card that matches the special point you picked. You can put a point in Luck, but pick a Strength card.

Once you reach level 50, you no longer gain new points, but can move a point OR pick a card.

After level 50 you just get new perk cards, you can use perk point to move special stats to another stat if you want that instead. So the higher level you are, more different specs are availible for you.

Changing perk cards in your deck don't cost anything.

So how many points total are available for all skills? So far I'm counting 53 points. If I'm at level 47, then does that mean I get to have 3 more points? So is 56 the maximum points?

56 is correct.

You will eventually have every perk card at every rank if you play long enough.
