Locked out of Order of Mysteries

I started the novice initiation by getting components for one of the secrets, but now the laser walls won't let me through. I am still wearing the Tattered Dress and Veil of Secrets. What am I missing?

Have the same problem.
A lot of quest areas that are tied to achievements are buggy.

You don't need to wear the dress. Just the Veil. Are you sure you've got it on? Double check to make sure something else you put on didn't remove it.

dunno if they fixed it but sometimes you had to unequip and re-equip it after you entetred to get it to read it right back when I did the quests at launch

Is your character an import from Bethesda linked account?

Changing server usually works

I restarted the game twice just to be sure.

It didn't help being on a new server.

There is no importing.

All accounts are stored by Bethesda. You just have an option of which launcher to use.

I completed every quest achievement.

There is only one bug and that is with raiding Vault 79 with the raiders. There is an issue where Gail gets stuck and you can not use the intercom. You just long out and back in and cross your fingers the script runs properly the next time.

I’ve completed this quest line on many different characters & the veil is glitchy. I make sure to equip it before entering the Puloaski chamber & wait a second or two before walking towards the light beams.

When it does glitch:
Unequip/re-equip then fast travel to mansion then re-enter zone has always fixed it for me.

you need to press space bar and that will lead you to downloading the holo tape and next part of the quest
