yeah that too
Bethesda never lie about the game, I know what type of game they are making. I skip it, untill it was 10usd, and then I try it. suprisingly, I had some fun time. I never expecting this game mount to anything. Its not like they hide the fact its a type of MMORPG.
-And selling cosmetic stuff is not wrong, since it has little to effect in game. and no one force you to buy it.
Sure, they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the "bag", but other then that I don't see they actually lie about what you would get. Game failed because they try something new, and the idea never really worked right, other then huge list of bugs. I think they were brave to try something new(while I didn't like "online MP Fallout idea" from the start)
holy crap man you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wrong.
they lied about the cash shop, the bag, the "16x the detail", the private servers, theres probably more but they aren't coming to mind.

Are you a Witcher cultist or something ?
Because they are 10 years old and mummy and daddy got them the game for being good little boys and girls.
Yeah sure, I'll totally believe you x')
Also if you dont believe me check my steam. My hours are made public so you can see for yourself.
1. The Atom Shop is an entirely optional part of the game, using currency that you can easily obtain through regular gameplay.
2. Many areas are far more detailed than the environments seen in Fallout 4 - the greatest example of this in my opinion is the newly overhauled Crater location, a raider town built in the heart of a crashed space station. Or if you would prefer a location that has been around since before Wastelanders, perhaps try the Asylum.
3. This point has no substance. While there were updates that caused bugs to surface/resurface, the quality of the game still tended towards a rising curve.
4. The launcher existed prior to Fallout 76. While I'm in no way a fan of it, I understand that it was intended to maximize initial profits by cutting Valve out of the equation - which was a smart business decision in the short term, as the game itself was a rather small project.
5. Not entirely true - there were no *human* NPCs up until now. The best example (again, my opinion) of this is Rose, the Raider-aligned Miss Nanny with an AI meant to replicate the lost love of a now dead Raider Chief.
6. The Canvas bag situation was poorly handled - yet this doesn't really reflect on the game in the slightest. We are talking about the game, right?
7. I monitored this situation when it first arose, and I still don't entirely believe the "bug testing" angle he went for. I suspect it was a bug he abused. To that effect, many exploiter's accounts were restored once the bugs they were abusing were patched. While I don't have an update on the situation, I can safely say the Map 76 site is back up and running - whether or not it is under new management I am not aware.
8. Bethesda merely requested that products were created using vague specifications. The end products were not their responsibility, and were the fault of the third party manufacturers. However, this still has nothing to do with the game.
9. There have been quite a few large ban waves that would disagree with you - Bethesda is avidly hunting down and banning cheaters and exploiters.
10. Bethesda has actually been quite active (and even proactive) when it comes to bugfixing. In fact, they now run a PTS in order to catch bugs before release so that they never see the light of day.
11. Fallout 1st (as well as the Atom shop) were created as a means for diehard fans and long-time supporters to give Bethesda additional funds (and incentive) towards the continued maintenance and updates of Fallout 76. Having funding is important for game development, you know!
12. I don't have any firsthand experience in this regard. However, I can say this: I can almost guarantee that nobody subscribed to Fallout 1st for the meager benefits it provides. Rather, they subscribed because they want to support the development of the game - a game that Bethesda knew it would be dangerous to make. Stepping outside the norm in the game industry is almost always frowned upon.
13. This doesn't reflect on the game in the slightest - what it does showcase, however, is how dedicated some people are to raining on the parades of others. It's quite sad, really.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
Here this is more about the game specifically in the form of a video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjyeCdd-dl8&t=427s
