I know that player vending machine are disabled, but I have a question...
This is my first time using my own vending machines and I am using them to look like gas pumps since there are no plans for gas pumps.
If there is no electricity going to the vending machines do the machines work for other players? Probably a dumb question, but it seems like they work for me without electricity and the only difference with electricity is that they light up.

It won't.
Without power, other players can't use it.
You on the other hand can, you'll be placing your items to sell and if the 30 spots are filled, it'll go directly to your stash.

Aside the fact that it shows the items on sale, it acts like your normal stash when you, as the owner, uses it.

Incorrect. The only thing power does is turn on the map beacon showing where your camp is. If a player stumbles upon your camp by accident or because it is near a popular location. A player can buy things from your vendor.

If Bethesda has enabled them in game.

And power lights them up as well, without out power they are not lit up at all. Atleast that is all that I have noticed.

I usually have two half-walls next to eachother, Then two vendors on each side of those walls for a total of 4 with a nice lil room between each 2 macines for a small stash for people to store their bought items easily. You can wire all four machiens to eachother then loop only one wire off that. Looks less cluttered.
