Rabbits and other critters

Okaaay. I need to find some critters for scouts + got daily quest with Vox darts. For that I need to find a rabbit.. Thing is I've never seen one. Only things I've seen are cat (1 or 2) and frogs in cave. Been wandering around quest area for rabbit, checked places mentioned on reddit (twin lakes, whitesprings bunker) and not a single one. It's bugged or..?

No it isn't bugged, you were probably unlucky, for why they are not spawning in the area they are marked in, is because it's a public server and lots of stuff happen there so they are probably long dead by some other player or animal, if you have a Private server jump in and I guarantee you they will spawn in the marked area or the places other people recommended because the server is gonna be new and untouched, so either that or keep jumping between servers to find them all, I can vouch for near whitesprings but spawn at "The Whitespring Service Entrance" and go south into the mini forest you should find rabbits there.

Im pretty sure critters are bugged. Been trying to do the scout badges for a while and they dont spawn where they normally do and I've checked several times. Did some other badges instead

Critter spawn problems are the reason the long-awaited Fasnacht event got postponed. They do exist but they are rare. I too have never seen a rabbit.

Yeah I just jumped a couple of servers and can't find dem critters, maybe it is bugged, but I jumped into my private world and they spawned like 3 rabbits and a squirrel near Whitespring service entrance, like they usually do. so if you really need critters go join a private server.
