This even happens sometime without the power armor.
Anywhere where it's close quarters, inside the Wendigo Cave, Vault Tec University, Overseers house etc.
I've tried removing my Bot helmet before getting in the suit, bit no better.
If I leave the PA suit sometimes I can maneuver better but can still get stuck unless I jump and twist in a different direction.
Why???
Is this a bug?

Do you play with uncapped fps? Going past ~200fps makes you unable to move, only jumping is possible at that point.

Hmmm...yes I play without an FPS limit.Pretty sure but I will check.
Weird idea, why does FPS affect things?

Its FPS problem. Restrict it to some number below your monitor refresh rate and it should be fine.

force vsync in your gpu drivers to fix it as game doesn't have that option

So checking my Nvidia Control Panel Fallout 76 is set as a game, Nvidia Driver GeForce Experience has Optimized Fallout as well.
Where do I adjust the FPS settings? In game or...?

Under 3D Settings, choose program settings, select fallout 76 and ensure Vsync is set to on.

OK, V-sync in the Nvidia Controller is set to OFF. Odd becasue on every other game it's suggested to turn Vsync off.
What would 'Use 3D application Setting" do?

its not global settings in Manage 3D settings, but in the second tab Program settings, find FO76 and change Vsync to on. its 3rd last option

Set your FPS to 120 or less.
