Get in the frame and then exit. That makes it your property and you wont lose it. It will return to your inventory after a minute, or you can hit spacebar to pick it up. The frame only weighs 10lbs when picked up, even with all armor parts on it.

It can also be put in your stash but not displayed like in FO4. Also you can Name the frame when its stored in you inventory/stash, so you can easily keep each version and find it easily

Yeah I did put it away. I didn't know you had to hop out of it to Claim it. I found one randomly while exploring, pretty cool. I put it away for now because I only have like 5 Fusion Cores and no Armor pieces. Just hit level 20 ;> :VBCOOL:

this game is mega unrealistic = you can put your frame to your Pocket !! and whole frame weight is less than machine gun

The game will not let you enter a frame if it contains armor pieces above your level. But you can still begin collecting higher level pieces.

If you find a frame you cannot enter, transfer the pieces to your inventory. You now have many high level pieces that weigh too much on your person. Now enter then exit the frame claiming ownership of it. Transfer the high level pieces back to the frame. 90 seconds later the frame will recall to your inventory. But you only have the weight of the frame, not all of the component pieces.

Hmm. I didn't know you could rename it; that would be handy. I thought i had accidentally scrapped my PA yesterday, or maybe left it behind, and was really worried. Turns out I had put it in my stash box.

Renaming is a godsend for me, since I like to collect Power Armors, yes I'm aware of the wasted STash space but I don't care, I renamed all of them 'Chassis (Armor type)' so that they stay together in stash, but are easily seperatable.

Rename is very handy when you have multiple frames. No having to shuffle them around to figure out which set it is.
