The gold trader Smiley doesn't reset
at all. I read somewhere it resets weekly, every Monday. Has been two weeks and still nothing. He says something about "next month".

hes been resetting saterday when the daily quests reset each day for me (which is 8pm est) if that helps any1... been that way for 3 weeks now

will also note that you only seem to be able to trade with him once (or at least from my exp)... so if you trade a lesser amount of caps instead of the 6k for 300, that counts as your one trade for the week

Then I had wrong information about this, I read weekly. Thank you and I'm not trolling, 300+ hours and loving the game.

It's every sunday. Been able to buy gold from in 2 weeks in row, no issues.

I don't know when he resets but I know dailies for the factions reset about 8pm EST.

You need to have finished the last mission in the wastelanders storyline for either faction.

I finished it for the raiders. He appeared after that and wasn't even there before the end of the questline.

Well , i bought gold from him last sunday and no new gold for now. So reset day is not monday. Some youtuber was saying its actually saturday. Shady stuff.

Thanks a lot, there's a lot of different information floating around but this makes sense. So the reset would be Sunday 12pm or 1am MES. Gonna check it Saturday night. Thank you!

My Saturday daily quests reset an hour ago but he didn't.

No. Those are Atom dailies.
The daily quests reset in another 8 hours.

Is the resets confusing as hell? Yep.

Supposedly at 8pm ET meaning Sunday early morning in Europe. This needs a timer... well basically there should not be a cooldown at all. I'm done with the content so far and it's the only thing I can do till next content pack.
