Ward<--- settlers.

You can have 3 dailes:

1. For raiders it's either the bounty (Rocksy) or the fetch radiotube (Wren). You get more reputation if you tell that Appalachia has a new corpse (bounty) or don't ask for reward (radiotubes).
2. For settlers ony Ward has a fetch quest. As above, not asking for a reward gives you more reputation.
3. At overseer's house Davenport gives you a photo quest, for either raider or settler. When you make the photos you can offer them to the other side for reputation. As always not asking for reward gives you more reputation. You can go back to Davenport after with a CHA check you get some caps.

Also random encounters will give you reputation, they are spread all over the map. But they give you very little rep. They spawn at locations where two different enemies are fighting each others.

There's a reputation exploit for the raiders, where you can max to ally in about 20 minutes, if you're feeling scummy. I won't post it here, but just look up "Rocksy Reputation Exploit" or "Meg Exploit Loop" if, like a good citizen of the United Federation, you would like to know more.

I didn't use either of these, but I can sympathize with the people who do on some level, because the Neighborly to Ally grind is serious. Like Elite Dangerous serious.

Just got allied on raiders side without exploits. I do play a lot so random encounters helped. Also, there is choices you can make that will net you a little extra rep. But I can tell ya one thing for those super thirsty to get the rep, just not a big deal. just do it normally/legit. The only thing you want to stock up on really is the gold for plans and stock pile legendary modules/vault steel. The rest does not need to be rushed.

I'd be wary of being "Scummy" because a lot of people who did just this got banned for doing it. They don't want people with items they shouldn't have yet and exploits in general are risky and stupid.

Do you have any citations for the bans? I would have expected to see something about that on the Official Forums.

A lot depends on what faction reputation you are after. You can forfeit rep for one side and boost the other.

You can forfeit the caps rewards for great rep bonus.

Ward's stolen items maybe be sold to the raider and you get raider rep at the cost of settler rep.

The Former raiders maybe be convinced with a strength of 8 to return to Crater for bonus rep. You can also convince them to go join Foundation with a charisma check.

Davenport's pictures can be sold to the opposing side.

Ohio River site gives two minor dailies. It takes twenty of these to equal one normal daily.

There is some info out there on the actual point rewards and stuff. I am just too tired and lazy to go track it down right now.

Dupers and exploiters usually just get flagged, and get banned in a later date. While cheaters get banned in less than 24 hours. Havn't heard about any mass banning yet so it probally havn't happen yet.

I honestly don't think they'll take action against the rep loopers, the stuff is still time-gated by the Gold Bullion Grind. I do know some people found a way to drop and dupe the new weapons/armor (You aren't supposed to be able to drop it) and they did get Yeeted already. I'm just guessing, but it's an educated guess, the current tool suite Bethesda employs is just a simple seed parser, as all legendary items have a unique itemseed. if the tool detects the same itemseed more than once it triggers the banbot.
Raiders is easiest to rep up.

So you can do the Vital Equipment for the Settlers and have the raider pay for the equipment. This lowers settler rep and raises raider rep!

2 dailies from Crater

Communications & the one where you kill the raider.

The communication one requires you to get vacuum tubes and repair 1. With a High Intelligence (8+) you get a Rep bonus at the end by unique dialogue.

The raider you can have pay you and then put a bullet in the back of his head for a bonus 25 caps and normal rep instead of half. Or you can make him return for bonus rep with a high Strength (8+).

Davenport gives you a daily to photograph either Crater or Foundation after you complete the Quest: Bucket List and get the ProSnap Camera. Photograph Foundation and return the photos to the Raiders. A high Strength (8+) will give you more caps but less rep and items while a High Charisma (12+) gives you more items and rep! After giving the photos to the Raiders a Charisma (8+) let's you lie to Davenport saying you got robbed so you still get paid in even more caps and Scrip!

Ohio River has 2 dailies. 1 to hold off some mirelurks and another to turn in mirelurk meat products. You get bonus rep from the turn in of Mirelurk Queen Meat!

Guess it doesn't matter now, many of the most active players now have allied rep with raiders. It wasn't that hard to reach it without exploits. I got ally rep today, i got much of my rep from random encounters. Have a map with all spawn locations.
