I have read many many threads with this error, in all of them the OP admitted they refunded the game on beth.

So the bug is in fact you having the game on steam, cause you shouldnt bcause of refund.

I left a link to their faq on how to fix it. It doesn't work. Never owned it on bethesda launcher.

Fact is you haven't read ♥♥♥♥. There are cases where people have posted that this is an actual thing.
