The PC Gamepass version has the new content

Just in case you don't have a console. I think you can get it for 1$ for 3 months too. Might be a decent idea if you can't wait for OMOCAT to say something about the Steam version.

I was wondering if that was the case, so thanks for clarifying! At least that confirms there is indeed a new shiny PC version floating about now--and that there may be hope for it to come to Steam.

There was something similar with Luna Nights if I remember correctly. There was new content in the windows store version that was added to steam some time after. So I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens for Omori ^^

Unfortunately, those who have already gotten the 1$ deal and it ran out are screwed, and the modding community doesn't really seem to care about modding the Game Pass version.

Sadly, Microsoft loves to try to lock down their game files with their platform. I tried looking into the game files on the gamepass version and I had to jump through so many hoops to even be able to do it.

It's not so much that they don't care, but that their leaders are paranoid about angering Omocat, so they issued a total ban on using the assets from the new version.
