Other 'collecting' card games like Yu-Gi?
Most of the card games I've come by have been rogue-likes that randomly distribute a different hand each new game. Some, like Monster Train, let you 'upgrade' said cards which get dealt randomly.

I'm looking for games (aside from Magic The Gathering) that allow you either get new packs or individual cards and let you keep and manage them....

Any others not MTG? I know there's Dragon Wars (and some 'Wolf' game) but looking for something a bit more established

I stumbled upon this along the way; not nearly as commercial, large or developed I still think it's a pretty awesome idea.

Shadowverse exists as well. Fair warning: some of the art makes you wonder how they managed to get a Yugioh-style children's anime approved.

You could try Hex: Shards of Fate, it has a really good and challenging campaign. However, the game is dead, the developers abandoned it. So don't pay money for it. It's well enough for f2p players.

Other than that the only thing I actively play is MTGA, which you don't want (And in all honesty, it's messed up right now anyways)

Thanks ...and I think I might've tried Hex when it was first released.

Thanks, that looks really cool. I have book marked the website

But I'm assuming it's a F2P for a basic startup set of cards and then continuous micro-transactions for more packs?

Can you 'earn' packs via gameplay?

Is the solo A.I. decent or do you only have a set number of 'missions' before solo content is dried up and you have to play others online?

It appears to be available only in the form of physical cards, which renders all of your questions moot.

Have an account and played a few times. Decent card game but didn't feel intricate enough

Another good F2P is the Might & Magic card game....but like most F2Ps it was too live player dependent ....same for Gwent
