The texts are too small for me.
Hi,

I am visually impaired and I find that the texts in this game are too small.

Not sure if there is an option for UI scaling?

I cannot find it anywhere.

Most modern games now days have this option which helps me a ton.

Thank you.

Go to Audio Tab - Subtitle Size

When you start a new campaign, text size on subtitles has a slider. It is set to 50% by default

I am having this problem as well. The subtitles slider does not seem to affect other text. Reducing resolution in the settings does not affect the UI elements as it's still rendering at 4k on my 4k television. Really wish the devs would allow us to choose a resolution here instead of forcing me to change it in Windows settings.

You could always have one of them fancy magnifying lenses on your desk to help you out I guess

Dumb question but do you use " reader glasses " ? get some with like 4-5x and just use therm for the game ?

Not a dumb question. I have a very strong prescription but I"m using a 4k TV at about 8 feet away. The problem is I'm nearsighted so my correction is a negative magnification. Adding magnification makes things out of focus at that distance. I mean the game is playable, just not what I'd call comfortable. I'll be playing it in my home office going forward unless an update is made to allow UI scaling.

I use that same set up for my monitor as well and I'm not nearsighted so i have no idea how that works but if you say it doesnt work i believe you,

UI scaling is a good idea, im not sure how these devs feel about ideas from outside sources but lets hope thye make it happen.

Ive seen some amazing wrap around desktop 40ish inch monitors lately.
If i had a home desk id want 1 of those monitors lol

So, can I run this at 720p in a window, then use something like LOSSLESS Scaling on Steam in order to properly blow that up to 4K? Both frostpunk and skylines are TRASH when it comes to trying this, yet many games WORK like GOLD with such a workaround...anyone know before I buy?

YES please, if anyone OWNS both of these pieces of software on steam or where-ever can you boot em both up and TRY this for my visually impaired friend and I? The idea is that when this happens it is OTHER than a blurry mess (like the two I mentioned previous). The idea is to get the SAME UI and HUGE text ect. (like you would have FS 720p) Yet have that in a 4K up-scaled "look".
