Windows 7

Has anyone launched and played this successfully on windows 7?

lol no. Update your OS already, windows 11 is already out, your only putting yourself at risk by still using it and obviously it's not meant to run on windows 7 cause no one should be using it anymore.

No, and pretty much no other game coming out in the future will run on Win7 either.
Win7 doesn't support DX12. Video card drivers don't support it anymore.

Just upgrade, it is free.

microsoft enabled dx12 support for win7 back in mid-2019

Only part of the feature set. Was mostly done so WoW would still work on Win7 when they upgraded their render pipeline to DX12.

Newer games that use modern DX12 features are not supported.

It isn't though... It's not getting security patches anymore. Using win7 puts every device on your network at risk.

Can't you force the game to run in DirectX 11 with the -dx11 command?
