Mods for easy mode?

Hi, all. Relatively new to PC gaming and mods and was curious if anyone knew of mods for this game to basically make it way easier.
I've never been that good at strat/RTS/permadeath type games but am a big Aliens fan and would love to play it but was getting nowhere fast when trying.

You could try download WeMod. Has built in mods and stuff that are easy to turn on (the free version just uses key shortcuts in game). Theres probably some mods built in already to make it easier. :)

WeMod isn't a mod/mods. It's a trainer like cheat engine or Aurora from cheat happens

Thank you very much. This looks exactly like what I was hoping to find- unlimited ammo, health, armor etc
Do cheats like this put me at risk for anything within Steam?
Is it easy to remove WeMod once I’m done with DD so it’s not synced up with my whole library?
(I’ve only ever used one mod before where I changed a line in the game folder)
