Report a translation problem
I thought the progression was okay. I could throw a level 3 in if necessary. It wasn't that big of a deal to me, because I was determined to do what I needed to do to get out with the fewest trips possible. I didn't realize the drugs could drop your stress level either. On my next game, I expect it to be a bit easier next time.
I have 4 just for the first deployment, the problem now that I think about it, is when I'm going to get the APC later in the deployment my best other marines are barely level 4 (been doing nothing but training) so it's going to be a big disparity with my 4 other marines :D

Nice, didn't think about playing it that way but wow the only thing will be you still need a lot of resources to buy all the weapons after that, so probably still can't get them all before mission 6 or did you manage somehow?
You can get engineers from day events. You can save scum to get up to 10
As long as you dont cross the point of no return you are can do whatever you want as long as you want.
The training only trains them up to level 4
