Report a translation problem
1) Every extraction will cost you a day. Every day will increase the "infestation" level. Which means: more aliens will spawn and missions get harder.
2) Marines will get tired after being on a mission. So you should have an A and B-Team for those missions. If you extract and run the same team again they will need to rest a day before you can pick them again.
3) If you team runs out of ammo and/or stress levels get close to 100% you might want to consider an extraction. No ammo = team whipe incoming. Too much stress = marines will get trauma (negative effects). Take ammo crates if you need them, but leave them if you are going to extract anyway. Ammo isn't stored so you'll just waste that crate.
4) After mission 5 there will be a dooms day clock ticking. You shouldn't waste too many days at that point.
TL;DR: Don't extract if you don't have to (enough ammo & supplies, low stress).
