Probably not. And that's okay - plenty of other games that cater to that interest, and not a lot that take a page from XCOM.
Incel, stfu. There was zero marketing as an MP game.
Go back to hating everything alone.
ADD would be terrible in multiplayer anyway. And to find out why, you really only have to look at AFE or other multiplayer titles.
Unless you're playing alone, you mostly hang out in lobbies and when a game starts, it doesn't take long before the long-awaited random noob quits and you're left alone again anyway, or you have to go out again, queue up again, wait another 10 minutes, and so on. No one who wants to play a story game needs that...
And I haven't even thought about the kind of player who, as a beginner, chooses one of the hardest modes straight away, then has no idea what to do and thinks he can let more experienced serious players pull him through the evening and weekend. Happens in AFE, happens in GoW, etc etc..
Or the people who are active until the game starts and then immediately go AFK. They don't quit, they just spin around in circles or stand completely still and thus block the slot. And they keep showing up in the search.
