If I may suggest, try to keep the stress level at below first 100% ideally (which is hard without reprimand on sergeant lvl 6) or never let stress reach tier 2 fully or 3, because then you will still get 2 or 3 trauma points on mission completion. As you get the trauma point(s) for HIGHEST stress level REACHED during the mission, not the last stress level with which you finish the mission. If the highest ever was 1 (up to 200% stress which is tier 2), then only one trauma point will be received.
That shouldn't work like that, from what I noticed it's as I described and that's what is stated in codex. Are you sure about that? Because then it's not working as described.
Alright, that's super surprising. Because I reached level 1 several times (during last patch as well) and got 1 point, from what I remember. In situations like these I would prefer to test things out. Gonna try it on a secondary save some time later.
EDIT:
Double checked it on my nightmare save. Got everyone from 0% to ~140% (stress level 1 reached), rested to ~40%, got them to over 100% again, rested to <100%, extracted. +1 trauma point to each. It is working as explained in codex.
My bad.
(second map, first ''real map'' that's not tutorial heavy like Dead Hills)
It's fine, as long as the game works as it should :)
