Zelda: TOTK
This one here - awesome :)
In terms of pure atmosphere alone though (and irrespective of game genre), I think A:DD does a much better job of it than A:CM, A:FTE, and any other Aliens-based game in recent years.
Just my opinion, of course.
If we're going by ''realism'', 4/5 marines vs a ton of aliens that have never fought aliens before is completely unrealistic too. They literally always die, even in the movies.
So I don't think that's a genuine complaint you can only attach to one game. It's clearly done for gameplay reasons.
Do you mean a SNES or Game Boy game?
Now when I checked the release years (not dates) my surprise only doubled. I was sure that AvP on Jaguar was first game for both franchises. SEGA Alien 3 actually came before SNES/Game Boy (93') which is 92' release. AvP on Jag is 94'.
Actually the first game is 82' arcade based on wiki list below. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Alien,_Predator,_and_Alien_vs._Predator_games
There are so many games I was never aware of, not that most of them are notable additions being mobile and weirdly online (web based apparently).
Yes, but we talk about AvP games.
The first AvP game was made on SNES, the second on GB.
Then we have CPS2 and Jaguar games.
Alright. Yeah, that's true.
Lol. Yes I had that for the C64. It was tedious and awful. If you have trouble sleeping. Do try a Let's Play somewhere. You'll be right out of it heh... Though the sequel tie-ins were much better. The one that was published through Electric Dreams here in the UK was of particular merit. There was a remake FREE to download at one point. It was called LV-426. Though if you can get a Commodore emulator. The original is well worth a spin...
Not sure about the Original SNES entry on that Wiki though.. I could've sworn I'd played that in the Arcade before it came to console... Screwy memory perhaps ? ah well...

What you played on Arcade is a game made by Capcom in 1994. Two different games. SNES's one is from 1993.
Oh yeah, AvP 2 overall is just fantastic game. Story, atmosphere, interlinked (yeah, BR2049 ref) scenarios. Multiplayer was a whole another world, so many nights spent there, played it for years. Last man standing / survivor (not sure how it was called there exactly) was one of the best LAN party modes, we went mad there with "Fort Knox" style of defences. Play 8 player team deathmatch (2x2x2x2) on most of the maps brings back so many memories! It says a lot that people still play it.
I had two friends who couldn't play games like AvP 99', AvP2 alone. Forget about Dead Space, A: Isolation. Just showed one of them A: DD and he was extremely impressed, instantly saying that this would drive him mad. And I know what he talks about. It's my approach to delve into mindset of going into atmosphere as deep as you can to enjoy the setting and tension. ♥♥♥♥... did I enjoy it haha That alone is a huge + for A: DD.
My first AvP game was the 94' arcade which I barely got to play. Then when I got to my own PC AvP 99' was THE game for me (besides other classics which any 90ies PC gamer might remember).
Checking it out, man. Thanks for sharing.
EDIT: How was this game even let to happen? It seems that most of even NOT fan projects are being taken down if there's any rights/license. Like I recently realised that Gibson's Alien 3 comic + audio book videos were ALL striked from YT. It's like loosing access to your favourite movie. Absolutely loved how people combined the Gibson Alien 3 comic with the audio book from Audible and made it an almost animated story. Having the comic and getting the audio book separately just isn't the same presentation. I'm desperate to get that vid back.
