Rescue vet?
Near the start of the game you have to rescue the vet. I have tried over 50 reloads to get past this and very time my team gets killed.

How do you get past this? I have tried welding the doors but they just break them open.
Used the shot gun grenade launcher, moved the sentry gun to a different position.
100% all the team are killed or abducted, also playing on normal difficulty as far as I know you cant change the level during play.

The queen part? set 2 turrets near the boxes facing tunnel, 2 as far as possible facing door.
Open the door -- move backward toward door & activate suppressive.
Nade the queen when about to charge. Flamethrower also very good because it's a very small place to fight.
Use your tool / retribution (if usable) for more command.

The rest is just how good your sneaking skill because you need to walk...
Also use motion trackers overcharge if you plant any... ideally on the right side of the map before queen.

Don't activate the bridge under onslaught imo.

to rescue the vet you have to advance more into the game after she gets taken you find her in the mine later on as for trying to get through the mission at that part good luck not dying during that part

I dont have 2 turrets, just met the vet at the contamination bunker, set the gun down, there are 2 doors the aliens come though left and right, tried welding one but they just crash straight though. set the doors to cycle but there isnt enough time to make a run for it, also the vet is stuck in the corner and wont budge. Tried abandoning her and leaving to her fate.

this is right at the beginning, havent found the mines yet.

Use suppressive fire and flares. Generally use flares often.

Set the turret like the tutorial said -- go to turret's back (don't even bother standing in front of it) -- set suppressive fire
use focus fire too for closest alien.

To use flare / shotgun / nade is up to you.

yea done that, can only use 1 of each, I can deploy 2 more action points, the first few are easy to kill then they just flood in, as soon as I loose 1 trooper then its game over, did try moving the turret back abit further in the room so it has a longer coverage from the corner to the outside door, but ending is still the same, wish there was an option to change difficulty then reset back after.

Honestly the only thing i could think of to be dead soooo many times there is having 3/3 stress for the marines.

Rest first if i'm right.

Turret + suppressive fire + granades = easy win (even on nightmare)

Probably your stres is issue.

yea did try resting in the room next door, didnt make a difference, and you can only rest once. Trust me I tried everything I can think of, rockets SP fire moving to different areas. Only asking on here as have seen a you tube video on this point and has the same issue, though the video cuts off short from completing this section.

No such thing. 4/4 tools = 4 rest possible.

Must be a different version, rested once didn't get an option to do it again. plus there are 4 consumables for extra weapons I only have 2, I do have the option to select more but that takes a wile to make an effect to use them again, the video was way easier than mine, starts off the same but the 2nd wave theres like 10 roll in at once.

The vet is cowering in the corner for a reason, and the tutorial should have forced you to plop the gun down right where you need it. You mentioned two doors to defend, that is out in the hallyway in the open, just stick to holding where the vet cowers. Set 2-3 marines to suppressive fire, let command points regenerate then open the door to start that part. The aliens will be charging into a prepped killzone while you have full CP for grenades, shotguns or whatever else you have. Don't worry about the vet, what matters is your marines survive. You will understand as the story progresses after that fight.

Don't move turret, aliens will focus it first rather then marines. Stand behind it. If anything gets close to much shotgun it or nade it.

ffs, after must been the 100th attempt done it, lost most of my squad and the Dr, pulled the turret as far back as I could then sat and waited in the other side trying to protect her as best I could, s/fire set up, the first wave is always easy, 2nd wave managed to grenade them and the last few after was close combat, managed to pull off a shot gun at the end. 1 turret isnt enough lol
