Runners are terribly implemented.
They dont work at all with the slow stealth stuff. Your marines move slowly and if a hunt is going on, especially on harder difficulties then Runners just sprint into a room and cover every corner. easily finding you if your trying to lay low. I dunno, its my only gripe but i wouldnt have had them sprint unless they are attacking. To much reliance on stealth for this to be fair.

If you notice a xeno getting close to your hiding position, or if you can't move away from the "last known position" of your marines, trigger a deployed motion tracker, it'll give you at least 30 seconds of breathing room since it attracts all xenos on the map.

Losing a tracker is preferable to losing your squad no?

Then weld yourself into a shelter to stop the hunt timer if needed.

Remote trackers are your best friend, litter those things far and wide and you have instant map wide distractions at your beck and call.
Another thing is if you don't have one placed or just need another second to get to safety, spray the flamethrower directly on the door and they wont bust in until it burns out or they will take a new route.
