CURRENT LIST OF BUGS
Did not see a list, thought this might be useful to the devs. My list is slowly growing.

Feel free to list bugs in your playthroughs. Adding duplicates to see how many people are affected/how prevalent the bug is useful, but may unnecessarily bloat the discussion, Please consider only responding with a +1 for a specific bullet point if you don't have a new bug not previously listed.

All of the following started happening to me after the first major update/ patch from June 29

1 Nuclear Protocol / Pioneer Station
1.1 Unable to retrieve Cooper's log. The databad is visible on the ground and is marked on the map but is greyed out and does not light up with mouse cursor over / cannot be interacted.
1.2 Unable to save by resting after taking the elevator to command level. Only saving after completing steps of primary objective. Pretty unnerving given the big Queen + Synths fight. Game DOES save right before entering the synth maintenance area, right after giving you the "you're about to get smoked, make sure you've cleared your browser history" message.

2 The Montero:
2.1 Unable to save by resting or by using the lifts after completing "Steal the montero's gas mixing chip: control room" step. Might have happened earlier tbh, I may have missed that. Thereafter only saved for me after completing a step of or fully completing primary objective (for me saved after connecting to MUTHR in AI control room and after taking the gas mixing chip in the hypersleep chamber. DID NOT save after completing Secondary Objective: Retrieve Marlow's Research. This one is pretty debilitating, since with high infestation there are lots of aliens and guardians roaming around and a fight forced onto your team in an inconvenient and unprepared spot usually means death.
2.2 Noticed random drones getting stuck /phased into walls. This is some Philadelphia Experiment type of horror.
2.3 Happened once, but one of my marines just flew off the map after I ordered the team to double time it somewhere. Can't tell you the details or his motivation, just saw his green blip rapidly escaping the Montero due South-East and out of bounds of the map, lucky bastard.
2.4 Saw a triple-yellow arrow marker for a lift control in some random hallway. Non-interactable.
2.5 A sentry gun was listed active on the left side of the screen when I had none deployed, complete with ammo count. Clicking on it took me to some invisible level above Deck B and gave me a fright, because I could not get back - there are no other levels on Montero that allow you to flip back to Deck B. Was able to get back to Deck B and to my team by spamming "focus on squad leader" button.
2.6 Lost resources due to "kleptomaniac" trait, except none of my marines have that trait. Brought back an unconscious engineer rescued from a cocoon, it better not have been him.

1. Sometimes "Detected" status doesn't go off. The game will show your status as "hidden" but the aliens will run towards you as you were permamently detected. This also causes your soldiers to shoot on sight - happened after infinite onslaught.
2. Sometimes 1 of my marines just decides he's not going to hide and pressing "Ctrl" will do nothing for him. While other squad members do it right, this one will never go into cover until you reload the game.
3. Using reprimand -> resting -> reprimand again will cause the reprimand last forever.
4. Randomly stuck marines with nothing even close to them - no walls, no rocks etc after taking damage from aliens.

I have also had a bug where hive threat continues to build as if you were detected even after going hidden

I have a bug where three of my marines are listed in the roster as being in medbay but they aren't. Effectively goesting them. I think it might be related to an earlier bug where I briefly had access to the psychology lab before I rescued the relevant Dr.

Mission 6 - there's an APC deployment spot on Basement 1, if you try to deploy there before you acquire the movie version of the APC, game will crash.

Montero:
1. Can't save after defence with turrets event.
2. Cant trigger console event after accesing cameras. If i go to the control room before cameras event triggers normaly, as expected.

I recall a weird bug in second to last mission (Olduvai mines). If you return to second zone from 3rd zone of the mission, after the blast doors event has finished (it's the zone where motion tracker does not work due to Trimonate exposure), then it stops working on 3rd zone of the mission as well. Basically the effect doubled on a map where it shouldn't, because I went back down the elevator to gather xenosamples.

Trimonate exposure really messes up the electronics.......

For some players, including me, after you return from Dead Hills the 1st time and visit the Barracks for the 1st time, the game gets stuck after selecting your marines 1st upgrade.

It asks you to select an available upgrade with lmb to confirm your choice.
After which you get stuck and your game effectively ends. The prompt to select the upgrade stays on the screen. In the bottom right of the screen, the game asks you to go to the command deck, but their is no way to get there. You can't select the back button and you can't select any other room.

The most stable version of the game 93991. new updates are simply unplayable, especially when you can no longer take ammo. The animation on board OTAGO is totally broken.
and this I just started the game and am in the first location.
I think I've had enough - I'm deleting the game and marking it as unplayable, I won't buy it and by the way I don't mind the money because I didn't buy it.

There are some topics on the first page that you haven't copy/pasted this into. Really need to work on that.

Extracting in the middle of the Montero mission and returning makes it that the lights are off again and apparently no way to turn them back on.

+1 for this one. I have run into it myself and am now holding off on playing the game further until I can be sure I won't run into the problem again.

I also encountered a closely related bug where I managed to select the back button, exit the barracks area and return to the command deck area, but that particular tutorial prompt followed me there, remaining on the screen the whole time, and then the Next Day button became totally unresponsive/unclickable. I tried reloading and then ran into the aforementioned barracks hardlock.

As for other bugs,

- At least one of the triggers in the Prologue seems to only respond to the default control setup. I tried switching the mouse buttons for moving and interacting with objects and found that doing so breaks the 'interact with monitor' part in the main character's office - clicking on the monitor will not bring up an option for accessing it. Restarting the game with the controls reset to defaults 'fixed' it in that the the access button came up, but it effectively means I'm stuck using the default controls. YMMV on how annoying that is.

Finally, I don't know if it's a bug or not, but I've had some visual issues with the Otago areas in between missions. The framerate suffers a lot in them, especially in areas that are visually busy like the workshop and ready area (I think that's what it's called? The one where you review marines before and after missions with the power loaders running around in the background), and all the areas seem to be permanently stuck on the lowest graphics settings - changing the graphics presets to Epic doesn't seem to change anything except make the framerate even worse.

The machine I'm running it on is not the most cutting edge top model out there - though still perfectly serviceable by most reasonable standards - so I am prepared to consider the possibility that it might just be a GPU problem on my end, but I have double checked my system specs and they seem to fall within the game's system requirements.

The other thing is that it's ONLY the Otago areas that have this problem - the actual mission portions of the game run just fine, and turning the graphics up DOES seem to work on them (the framerate starts to suffer a little with everything turned up to Epic at times, but there's no real issues on High setting), so I have my suspicions.

I'm starting to suspect it might be connected with a startup bug I've encountered launching the game. When I first tried starting the game, I got this message:

DX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument.

I double checked my system and I have an up-to-date version of DirectX 12 installed, so I don't know what's going on there. I had a quick Google search and found the same error message reported for a different game on Steam and the help thread recommended adding a -dx11 line into the Launch Options box in the game properties menu. I tried that and the game launched properly, but I can't help but wonder if doing so might be causing the game to think my video drivers are older than they actually are.

Anyway, I thought I'd share all that on here just in case anyone else out there is having the same issue.

I experienced a bug I was able to recreate twice in the refinery. In the far left, wedge shaped room on floor one where you need to go to access elevator #2 to the basement, there's one enemy with several barrels. If you kill the enemy by shooting a barrel, it prevents the player from picking up items/breaking welds –which prevents the player from advancing further. I restarted and tried again and same thing happened. On my third attempt, I just shot the enemy and I was able to advance. So far, I haven't experienced this issue with other barrel kills/levels.

On XBOX (SX), there is no XBOX forum so posting here.

I get some weird rainbow flashing lights on the corners arround the cinematics cutscenes, primarily from the ones on the Otago.

Mission 2:
Top floor, hostage takers fell to the floor, cant rescue the hostages.

Marienes get 10% bravery and 15 accuracy debuf even after tiered state has ended. (not sure about the accuracy but bravery is gone)
