2. Sometimes 1 of my marines just decides he's not going to hide and pressing "Ctrl" will do nothing for him. While other squad members do it right, this one will never go into cover until you reload the game.
3. Using reprimand -> resting -> reprimand again will cause the reprimand last forever.
4. Randomly stuck marines with nothing even close to them - no walls, no rocks etc after taking damage from aliens.
1. Can't save after defence with turrets event.
2. Cant trigger console event after accesing cameras. If i go to the control room before cameras event triggers normaly, as expected.
Trimonate exposure really messes up the electronics.......
It asks you to select an available upgrade with lmb to confirm your choice.
After which you get stuck and your game effectively ends. The prompt to select the upgrade stays on the screen. In the bottom right of the screen, the game asks you to go to the command deck, but their is no way to get there. You can't select the back button and you can't select any other room.
and this I just started the game and am in the first location.
I think I've had enough - I'm deleting the game and marking it as unplayable, I won't buy it and by the way I don't mind the money because I didn't buy it.
There are some topics on the first page that you haven't copy/pasted this into. Really need to work on that.
+1 for this one. I have run into it myself and am now holding off on playing the game further until I can be sure I won't run into the problem again.
I also encountered a closely related bug where I managed to select the back button, exit the barracks area and return to the command deck area, but that particular tutorial prompt followed me there, remaining on the screen the whole time, and then the Next Day button became totally unresponsive/unclickable. I tried reloading and then ran into the aforementioned barracks hardlock.
As for other bugs,
- At least one of the triggers in the Prologue seems to only respond to the default control setup. I tried switching the mouse buttons for moving and interacting with objects and found that doing so breaks the 'interact with monitor' part in the main character's office - clicking on the monitor will not bring up an option for accessing it. Restarting the game with the controls reset to defaults 'fixed' it in that the the access button came up, but it effectively means I'm stuck using the default controls. YMMV on how annoying that is.
Finally, I don't know if it's a bug or not, but I've had some visual issues with the Otago areas in between missions. The framerate suffers a lot in them, especially in areas that are visually busy like the workshop and ready area (I think that's what it's called? The one where you review marines before and after missions with the power loaders running around in the background), and all the areas seem to be permanently stuck on the lowest graphics settings - changing the graphics presets to Epic doesn't seem to change anything except make the framerate even worse.
The machine I'm running it on is not the most cutting edge top model out there - though still perfectly serviceable by most reasonable standards - so I am prepared to consider the possibility that it might just be a GPU problem on my end, but I have double checked my system specs and they seem to fall within the game's system requirements.
The other thing is that it's ONLY the Otago areas that have this problem - the actual mission portions of the game run just fine, and turning the graphics up DOES seem to work on them (the framerate starts to suffer a little with everything turned up to Epic at times, but there's no real issues on High setting), so I have my suspicions.
I'm starting to suspect it might be connected with a startup bug I've encountered launching the game. When I first tried starting the game, I got this message:
I double checked my system and I have an up-to-date version of DirectX 12 installed, so I don't know what's going on there. I had a quick Google search and found the same error message reported for a different game on Steam and the help thread recommended adding a -dx11 line into the Launch Options box in the game properties menu. I tried that and the game launched properly, but I can't help but wonder if doing so might be causing the game to think my video drivers are older than they actually are.
Anyway, I thought I'd share all that on here just in case anyone else out there is having the same issue.
I get some weird rainbow flashing lights on the corners arround the cinematics cutscenes, primarily from the ones on the Otago.
Top floor, hostage takers fell to the floor, cant rescue the hostages.
Marienes get 10% bravery and 15 accuracy debuf even after tiered state has ended. (not sure about the accuracy but bravery is gone)
