What could be done, for example:
Aliens could stop moving and lay ambushes (on top of the already present semi scripted wall ambushes). Aliens could move in a pack and look like they intereact with each other and separate to scout an area efficiently. Aliens shouldn't move in one direction a few meters, and then go back randomly in another direction. Instead they should look like they are exploring the map with a purpose. At the moment it really looks like they go in random directions with a timer. They don't look like they're hunters at all.
However it's mostly the impression on the player that should be improved, not the actual efficiency. Something must be made so it is not possible to 'wait out' for aliens to move the other way, in some cases (not always). Right now the aliens are way too predictable.
Game is great but it's going the wrong way atm
Persoanlly i'd prefer to have low difficulty where you could move and shoot everything and just have some fun like in aliens 2 movie, without all that stealth stuff
Was expecting to have more tactical game, placing traps, prepairing def, etc
Instead i am have to move around to avoid all the aliens and this really reminds of pacman, stealth feels wrong when you talk about squadron there
"fun like in aliens 2 movie,"
Someone didn't watch Aliens.
Counter Offer: They make a paid expansion that is as long or longer than the campaign so people can buy it. After all, Devs got bills to pay too, and working on an IP under the Mouse House can't be easy to juggle.
maybe it was fun to watch
