Bug? Kleptomaniac

Even though i don't have any sooldier with this trait the tantalus lab mission was the second where the debriefing says "Kleptomaniac" stealing 20 materials from my loot (nightmare).

am i missing something here?

Yup it seems like it pops up randomly.

I had that happen to me too. I didn't think much of it at the time because my marines were stressed tf out and I wasn't sure if that was a stress-related trait that could come up, but if it's just a bug then it makes more sense.

I wonder if the people you rescue have traits that can count against you... I had an extraction I did that applied klepto at the end of the mission, ended up reloading from a save (messed up my trait pick on a post mission levelup) and after doing the rescue again and exiting it didn't apply it.

I had it happen once, but I wasn't sure if I had a kleptomaniac on the team or not. Could be one of the survivors you rescue.

Didnt have this issue on my first runthrough BEFORE THE PATCH when i rescued the survivors had this issue only ONCE after the PATCH. I think return to pioneer station (which was already a buggy mess going INTO IT) so another bug to report :[

Yeah had it too prior to last patch happen, even though nobody in the team has the attribute.

I think, too that the engineers/physicians you rescue could have traits, too. Started after i rescued an enigeer if i recall corectly. Definetly not on any on my marines

Had this one as well. Wondered if it was a random event, like the shortage of medical supplies.
