full inventory stops you from picking up missions items?

like i cant even drop anything i dont even know what my inventory looks like

is there a button for this?

Your inventory looks exactly like it does when you outfit the squad. So it says, for example, Tools 0/6 Meaning you have none of a total of 6, same with med kits. and sentry guns.

Your inventory is at the top of the screen and shows what you have. You can pickup as many materials as you can find as well as ammunition.

You use tools to weld doors as well as repair sentry guns to name two items and dropping a tool so you can pick up a tool makes no sense. Same with med kits.
