You have a fortification that you can man with your crew, that you can assign each of them to which ever man-able point you want them to hold down and defend.
With every wave you earn experience so your platoon can level up and get more capabilities, to coincide with the increasing strength of the aliens. Every 5th wave, there is a supply drop outside the fortification your crew needs to venture forth and collect: ammo, medkits, tools, sentry guns, materials, etc., and whatever alien bio samples are harvestable from the corpse’s all outside your fortification.
Failure to collect a supply drop would potentially end the run, as you may run out of ammo, materials/tools to repair/upgrade defences in the fortification.
Just a rough, but we all know what a lively, stressful, and good kind of infinite wave survival mission would entail.
Just started playing this, but just wish there was a survival mode. May they will release a dlc for the game; it is desperately needed.
Sadly, I think dev support for this game has long since ended. Hopefully, they're working on a bigger, better sequel and these game modes are included.
How do they not support a game that is as awesome as this!?
