reliable way to 'run' on pc?

Double clicking right mouse button works fine for me. What issue are you having?

When a marine has a suppresive fire order he or she will not run. There would be some other things like injuries that would also force a walk. Other than that double click works reliably for me.

You don't want "always run" trust me, it would be a suicide during combat.

my issue is that run doesnt always work. they still walk. im like 'run damn it' clicking the mouse

I wonder if you shouldn't check your mouse settings. maybe the double click doesn't register? you should be able to play around with the speed in Windows
