XP source?

I know about Intensive Training, Killing Special Xenos, and completing objectives. But I just watch a youtube video that says that surviving a onslaught will also net you XP.

Is it true, and what other XP source you know that seems relatively unknown?

You get 1 xp for each side objective (main objective may be more, i do not know) for main objectives, for killings onslaughts, for killing class 2's, and for killings queens.

Im pretty sure killing special xenos does not give XP...
Ive killed crushers and dont see the little +1 xp at bottom.

+1 only shows when you actually level up. It is saying you've leveled up, not you've gained XP

You can get +5 xp each mission if you kill off the onslaughts and class 2's. Possibly more than that? I saw a prompt saying a queen was hunting after i got to max aggressiveness (nightmare + had already killed the queen) But i didn't stick around to find it.

It's definitely not common tho, i've been to max on my normal runs and never got that prompt. Maybe nightmare only, maybe very rare idk

I'm currently doing it on my nightmare run, just to maximize my potential gain. Although, i had waited for the patch that just dropped to drop to continue.

Class 2's do not i am sure I checked that several times and my exp was the same.

I figure it would do the same if i killed a crusher and it counted.

Im not talking about the green level up arrow.

I went to dead hills and farmed till the 3rd and last onslaught and left, after killing a crusher and im almost positive i ended with 3xp.

I never played after the patch yet. This was a couple days ago i noticed this.

I'm fairly certain i've leveled up off of killing a class 2 before. Unfortunately, i have not found a way to see the XP bar on mission. The green number is a bit inconsistent. (maybe it was one of the minor changes in the recent patch, i didn't read it all). From what i've noticed when i started paying attention, +1 only seems to appear on a level up. I also thought it did it any time i gain XP, but several things that i know give XP did not show a +1.

Hey if anyone can dive into the files and find this ♥♥♥♥ out, that'd be super helpful. or a dev :D

Perhaps it does not, then. I've never specifically went into a missions to fact check.
