looking for Tips for completing the mine mission

I'm doing the mission the Dead hills where you see the queen, fight her then free someone. Well, I can't seem to escape the mission to the elevator. I keep getting caught buy drones on the way out. how did people do this mission?

Set 2-3 trackers on the way to the Queen, then trigger them as needed after you kill her. to avoid more aliens stumbling across you. They will all run to the other side of the map, you can free the cocoons and start moving in the direction of elevator. Leave tracker in Queen's room and trigger it once you reach the bridge but before lowering it. Xenomorphs will go to the top left corner, leaving you free to lower the bridge and walk to the elevator.

I filled the narrow path to the queens area with mines before I opened the door (I didn't know what was in there but I figured it was a boss fight and didn't want to be flanked). Until you activate the bridge to leave, thats the only direction the drones will come from.

As for making it from the bridge to the elevator, what Jadawinx said is pretty much the best option. If you spammed motion trackers on the way in (like you should do in every mission) you can blow them one by one to distract drones to get a clear line to the exit.

Thanks for the tips, used the motions trackers in better spots and that helped a lot, I also actually avoided the bridge and was able to escape the way I came, this mission was a hard one.

It was pretty hard. I had bad luck approaching from the south after the queen, but I found the eastern way a lot better for turret defense from behind and in front. Glad you made it.

haha, I guess its a little different for everyone... I had pissed off the hunts so much before i took down the queen that the eastern direction had a crusher hunting for me. I had to go over the bridge, it was the safer option :P

isn't that interesting, that was the same issue for me, but the crusher was staying around the bridge on my run, and going back the way I came was much safer.

yea this mission sucks it almost made me uninstall, i killed the gueen then have to fight a horde and a charger with no ammo or meds.
