Is there a way to destroy alien spawn points?

Was just curious if anyone has tried it yet. Like using a flamethrower or an RPG.

I think that is the point of this game. The alien is just big cockroaches. Virtually impossible to eradicate.

I feel like if you could, they'd just pop up under your feet randomly then. I'm happier knowing where they're coming from.
