Game breaking bug

Iv just returned to the ship after clearing the mine, and get the objective to speak to the scientist for research opportunities. The game wants me to select stasis grenade, however its stuck on chitin plate, I cannot move the mouse to stasis grenade, I cannot change the options. If I go through with research chitin plate the game locks up after its completed, I can move my mouse, but the game still wants me to research stasis grenade, yet I cannot click on anything.

Basically the games unplayable due to this. I cannot deploy without talking to them about research, I cant research what he wants me to research as the UI is basically disabled because its on rails, but the rails are on the wrong track and auto select chitin. Im stuck.

I didn't have this bug so badly - it wanted me to click on Stasis Grenade, but after researching Chitin Plate (first in the list) I was able to research Stasis Grenade and everything continued fine. It might have helped that I had more than enough xeno bits.

i dont have enough currency, i have only 19 so i am also stuck here.

And restarting didn't fix it? I got through with 12 xeno samples, pissed off a bit as the game forced me to research chitin plate instead of stasis grenade.

Wait til you find out you need to spend xeno resources to unlock those upgrades per deployment :D

Unfortunately is not possibile because you're not allowed to deploy until you visit the lab and as soon as you enter the lab you're doomed by the bug.

In the latest build at least you're allowed to select stasis grenade after unlocking chitin armor. Previsouly even after unlocking the armor you weren't even allowed to select the grenade.

This is true, can't directly research stasis grenade, fortunately I have more than enough xenos (34) for all the 3 projects.
