I'm on the 4th mission for 20h00 of normal play and I think I'll be about halfway through the game after completing the 4th mission.

I have 25 hours and still did not finish it though(close to the end now), I try to read and complete every objective and collect all materials though.

There are 12 missions total you are far from halfway. Enjoy you will still have plenty of fun^^

25 hours seems like a good estimate. 15 hours if you rush it or have absolutely no chill, 30 hours if you are slow (not that I mean that in any negative way) - completing everything, or needing to repeat missions a lot, or so on.

I can't imagine it taking longer than 30 or less than 15 though, and most people will probably need 20-26 hours or so.

26 Hours in, Mission 05 at the moment.
playing on the second highest difficulty, accepting all consequences if things go south and it's my first playtrough so everything is still fresh and I don't read/watch spoilers.
I never load a older save for a reroll but I have to do it sometimes to fix one of the bugs in game.

might end up with 40+ hours or more depending on how large the following missions are and how things play out in the field.

I find that each new location takes me about 2 to 3 hours to get through and get all the data pads and items. But I am only just now finishing the second area.

Nightmare difficulty with the ironman save setting... so far 24hrs in and only on mission 3. I did have to replay entire missions many times due to the settings. Great game !
