Hey all I wonder if there'll be some fights against the WY mercs at some stage of the game instead of just cultists? I'm about to start mission 4 by the way & would love to put some hurts on the corporate lackeys.

WY are the good guys, you as the marines are essentially WY mercenaries. if you remember correctly in the early part of the first Alien movie the marine are taking orders from Berk the WY management.

Well yes those money grubbing corpos literally funded USMC weapons, vehicles & payday. I did see a trailer where the WY mercs in spiffy white armor attacking the marines or something...will I expect their not so warm welcome after mission 4? (spoiler)

Yes, you'll meet and fight some WY mercs. But that's late in the campaign. And don't worry, they don't overstay their welcome like in Gearbox's trainwreck.

No they are not lol. Not once does the USCM take any orders from Burke.
He's just a representative of the company that owns all the ♥♥♥♥.
WY funneling a ton of money into the armed forces is a different story.
WY's own hired goons are just that.
Mercenaries.
But since that comes with negative connotations, they are called "Security" or something else that doesn't have the nasty baggage.

yup, the marines are a cheap way for WY to save cost by only paying half instead of the full amount and still get a fighting force that will take orders. Granted they can’t break any rules or else.
