Flamethrower
Love using it in defense and just painting an area denial but the sound cuts out all gunfire and voices.

Its visually nice too, but I cant help but feel like it might either need a tiny bit more range or a bit faster damage tick.

I've had numerous times now where drones and cultists just run through the wall of outgoing fire and bonk the flamer user which has me scratching my head as to if its just not applying the damage properly or something else.

Its also very strong against bosses, as the fire keeps ticking down their health. Really handly to have one in the team !

Nice. I actually just recently realized its more of a tool to protect your flanks with a wall of flame than it is a weapon to kill xenos. Loving it!

Try using it with turrets and suppression for a chokepoint. Had a massive swarm with runners that would get slowed down in the fire and die. Any they gets through well ah ♥♥♥♥

Im rocking a sarge, medic, recon lad and gunner, kinda feel like medic is meh but Im sticking with it. Love the smart gun and silenced sniper

How do you use the silenced sniper? Is it like the sentry, where when you call for a shot, the recon will move into the best position to take it?

I was trying to figure it out, it's an ability like the flamethrower. if you have the perk for the silencer, the marine will line it's shot up if in LOS for a second and instant kill. Comes in handy to ♥♥♥♥ off some patrols

You need to move your recon in the line of sight of your target. This means if the enemy is around a corner, you'll need to expose all your squad members until you get a white line that will allow you to use the sniper. It's a bit of a hassle when using it in tight spaces but its doable with a bit of maneuvering.

So you mean you have to move your whole squad out in the open and select the skill? I'm sorry, I don't have the flamethrower yet.

Yup, you'll need to move the whole squad since it's not possible to individually move your squad members. Sometimes you'll need some trial and error for those sneaky snipes. My tip is to use the slow mo when moving and aiming your sniper so you'll have an easier time estimating whether you can kill your target before it detects your squad.

yeah my only issue with no individual movement is sometimes I would like my recon to scout and get into position
