8 Days in the Med Bay for no reason?

just cleared two floors with my "A" Teams (Tech, Scout, Leader, Gunner) and returned to base because I was running short on tools/med-kits.

now my entire team is between 5 to 8 Days in the Med-Bay. I got no wounds in the mission, no mental damage, nothing. now I'm forced to either wait by rolling forward the days/using docs to reduce time or go into the boss battle with the "B" team (which sucks).

whats worng with this mechanic? I would understand a wounded Marine takes some time in the Med Bay but unharmed Soldiers just playing cards with the Staff?

Sounds like the A team may have been tired already, and now they are exhausted? Time to send in the B team for some boss exp!

not talking about the "tired" status. that's fine too but they are in the actual med bay flagged as wounded for 5-8 days. ahh well, no big deal but weird.

if they've dropped to 2 hp (1 if you have the power from leveling up) at any point in mission, you'll get wounded status back on the boat. ANY damage they take beyond armor however even if you heal it up in mission will still net them at least a day if not more in the med bay back on the boat.

ahhh, okay...thanks. that explains it. guess I missed that tutorial. the squad came back from the mission and I had no red flagged "wounded" status on any of them but they still ended up in the Med Bay. happend the first time in the second Mission (Harbor).
