Very high CPU usage on AMD platform.
I've a bit of a problem running the game on a Ryzen 7900x.

The CPU clocks at 4,69 GHZ and I've got 2 worker threads at ~80% average load which is fine, but all 22 remaining threads are running at a ~30 - ~40 load. Resulting in a very hot cpu. I've got a 360mm radiator and it can barely keep up.

This seems unreasonably high, leading to high power consumption and a pretty annoying fan curve. I enabled vsync to make sure it's not the fps going haywire. I'm at a smooth 120fps.

Anyone else experienced this?

My CPU gets very hot as well in this game. I have a 7800x3D and a decent cooler.

Best solution I've found for games like this (Last of Us also gets very hot for some reason) is to limit maximum CPU processor state to around 95%.

You can do this in Windows power settings - and the easiest thing to do is to create a separate power plan, so you can easily switch back and forth between this and your normal power plan.

I've yet to notice a FPS drop of any kind - but the temperature drops massively.

I'm not comfortable playing games at very high temps - so this has worked well for me.

Ryzen 7940HS,32GB RAM on windows 11, brutal lags all the time, in spikes CPU usage rise up even over 60% which I never seen before with any other game before.

Tutorial level run well, but since i started to explore first mission its almost unplayable. WTF is wrong with this game?
Overcloking enabled.
Some of the mobos come by default with overclocking enabled and the games can actually force the CPU-s to run on very high useage. So either you get a water cooling solution or disable overclocking in the BIOS.

First thing i did was disable it, after a PC restart. 5800
