game crash nearly broke my computer

crash - all screen stuck, try to restart my computer but it's stay restarting forever. Had to unplug the power. Anybody has the same issue?

Yea happened to me when starting the first planet mission after prologue , I alt tabbed and lost power signal to both monitors , had to force a reset from my pc case.

Checked the event manager and got the famous "nvlddmkm" error that's related to gpu , i have no issues with other games.

I don't know if my alt tabbed during soldier movement produced this issue but not happy about it either.

Do you know that most of these errors are due to having the PC connected to a low power UPS or the power supply lacking power to supply power to the entire equipment when it is subjected to high performance?
This isn't a problem in gaming, it's a problem of buying the most expensive graphics card and the cheapest motherboard or power supply.

Well i'm running an i9 13900kf + rtx 4080 OC , 32 gigs of ddr5 @ 6000 mhz with Toughpower GF3 1000W Gold - TT Premium Edition with PCIe 5.0 and atx 3.0 and lost power to both monitors while alt tabbing in this game during a mission.

I'm playing battlefield 2042 and diablo 4 alongside which are known to be high end pc HOGS without any issues.

Hope the devs start looking into this because it ain't right.

Just now decided to refund it, will buy it only when they fix it. my computer is brand new and i am not going to let this game damage my computer.

Happen to me on an alt tab, computer locked up the restarted its self. Only done it once and not again but still.

I think I had a simliar issue after closing the game, monitor went offline and after restart my system was FU*%ED. After removing and reinserting my GPU fixed it but that was the craziest crash ive ever gotten. Kinda worreid about playing more tbh

brand new?? list the specs.. more often then not a driver reinstall or update will fix that issue. Games don't kill PCs, they just uncover defects in cards/drivers that would have been discovered in some other game.

Yea problem is running only this game in particular cause these kind of issues , i for one i'm running i9 13900K + 4080 OC RTX with a suped up PSU 1000w thermaltake atx 3.0 , pcie 5 , rams are top of the charts too and i'm playing games like battlefield 2042 on full ultra specs and diablo 4 for days on end without any issues.

Then I boot this and my pc goes unresponsive and lose gpu signal on monitors out of the blue , there are tons of these issues if you read around the forums , game needs serious patches.

Nope, games do not break computers. Lack of knowledge of how to correctly build, optimise and maintain one can.

Umm, Diablo 4 is not a high end PC hog lol, it's one of the most optimised AAA games to come out for a few years now.
