If you fixed this bug, why isn't it in the hotfix? Second time that I play this mission, this time with the hotfix and it's still broken.
It's really annoying trying to do it without the cameras.
Edit: Nevermind, this mission is now just straight-up broken after the hotfix, whether you use the camera or not. I picked up the welder and still can't unweld the door. :/
So much for "we fixed it".
The dev's solution doesn't help either, because the last save I had before starting this stealth mission was before the mission where I went to get Marlow. For some obscure reason the devs didn't make a save at the end of that mission. All of safe room saves from that level are mysteriously gone. That's 30-45 minutes of progress completely lost and it's not even assured that I won't just run into the bug again.
yeah had to replay that mission too.
ended that game, did something else, and when i reloaded i had to go back to get the welder and then it worked.
Same problem here. Hope they fix it in the next patch.
Yeah, I ended up getting past it by reloading that save too. Took me 4 tries, but it worked on the 4th.
Same problem. Doing the whole welder thing without checking the cameras did work for me.
I have no idea how such a campaign-breaking bug got through any serious professional playtesting. Unless, of course, proper playtesting was never done (shocking!)
I found that reloading the most recent autosave and NOT using the cameras (thank to suggestions above) allowed me to unweld the door. I did NOT have to go all the way back to the pheromone trap and replay from there, as was mentioned by some others.
*EDIT* was able to complete it after loading a couple more times.
Now I see some wonky bugs in the following mission. Theres a warehouse I should open the gates for the APC to pass through but can't seem to find a way to do that.
