Bugged: Going to Laboratory Does Nothing

So I've already unlocked the lab and had the conversation with the scientist guy. Now whenever I go back in, there are no options do to anything at all. You just see the MC and the doc standing there.

I thought maybe I just needed to wait, but I have already found Xeno blueprints and acquired a bunch of Xenosamples.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Do I just need to be more patient, or? I don't think the latter, because all of the other parts of the ship have menus even if their options are limited.

You have to have sufficient xenosamples to satisfy the full resource requirements of a technology. If you are short the option don't seem to appear.

You are on the second map right? if yes, you need to get a "queen" samples for the lab. (primary objective)

got close to 30, it took 15, nothing happened, going to keep playing and if it doesnt change even after reaching the second map, probably a glitch

You (pay to) equip them at the deploy screen when filling your tool, medkit & sentry.
Literally right of them.
Lab is just to unlock--> done.

You need to finish first map to have option to get upgrades in laboratory .

Can confirm you need to finish 1st map for lab.

Game bugged to where I can not get the Veterinarian off the wall and now can't get the lab to open since Deadhills is not complete. So now have to start a new game I guess. There is no reason a bug that game breaking should still be in the game this long after a launch.
