The Auto Save System Sucks

my playthrough has been ruined due to the auto saves. it erases a lot of your saves previously too from hours back, should of had manual saves from the get go. the Deathclock is trash too. I like the game, but even on medium difficulty its too much, now im stuck indefinitely by the power loader on the mine level with max stressed marines, no medkits, no tools, the aliens just destroy your marines, no matter what you do, im not restarting this entire game.

you can get a mod that allows you to manually save anytime, both in mission and in the HQ.
you can also get a mod that sets the deathclock to 999.
