Mission 11, power loader guy missing

So near the end of mission 11 one of your guys needs to get into the power loader. Everything went fine, until the guy who was in the loader disappeared completely. I can see him on the map, on the spot where he entered the loader, but he is not there.

He is alive, but cannot be found. I also cannot extract the squad as this fifth member isn't inside the vehicle.

Mission breaking bug near the end of it.

I managed to rush and camp through the last bit with 4 men, but would have been nice to keep the fifth guy along as well.

This happened to me too. I think there's a glitch where power loader guy is warped back to the original position where the power loader was found but you cannot see him for some reason. Command your guys to run to a spot and just wait there. Your power loader guy should run to that position from off-screen after a while. That's what worked out for me anyways.
