Junkyard contracts - help show what's already in inventory

When first selecting a contract, wouldn't it be fair to show me which items I already have and which I still have to track down? It's crazy to have to write down all of the parts, back out of contracts and then pull up inventory.

Contracts could be fun, but between this, the timer, the penalty, and the limited profit - it is very frustrating.
