I saw a youtube video and the guy said you have to be quite a distance into the game before the DLC is available. Just asking since the dev says it is an independent structure

If its like the airport dlc, the structure is seperate but both run at the same time. You cross the street or take a shortcut next to the car wash to get there.

The dev didn't say if both junkyard and gas station run at the same time. I believe they well. If they do, it gets too be too much to manage.

I'm still confused, the Game Dev said separate which I assume is like tidal wave. You're saying it's like the airport dlc? So I can pump gas then run to the junk yard restore a car then come back and fix a car in my gas station all while not logging out?

Yes that is correct it's like the airport and on the same map but separate structure

I can confirm that it's similar to the airport. I've been playing it for over a week now and have videos on my YouTube channel. Just look up my name on YouTube and you can follow along. I think it's toward the end of the 3rd episode that I unlock the Junkyard stuff, since I decided to reboot the series and start from scratch.

When the Dev's said they are "separate", I think they meant that they are separate DLC's, but they're all on the same map (except for Tidal Wave which is a different map).

Maybe it is possible to close the station and just focus on the junkyard if it becomes too much to run everything
