Selling shelves

Is there a way to sell extra shelves from your inventory?

There isn't and there should be. I don't know how something this simple escapes full release. The small shelves are pathetic and swapping them out for large shelves means you'll have the small shelves permanently in inventory doing nothing.

It has to be bought very carefully. Things like small tobacco shelves and alchool are okay , I bought two of them intead of large because it is easier to fit in the station walls. Newspapers are the more shelves I got because it is selling a lot and a few article only can be placed even on the large model.
I took Two larges and two smalls, large are for newspaper and smalls for magazines. I disposed them as a small concealed hall way and it worked out brillantly !
I also use small snack shelf for potato chips ( basically salted snacks ) and a big one fore sugary snacks.
Small soft drink shelves for Soda cans and one big for bottle cans !

You'll see doing that way organizes things way better !

Decorations need this too as if you pick locks you just get swamped with them very, very quick

there is zero motivation to pick locks and the feature should be removed for something better you own a buisness and go to the parking lot to pick locks for why again?

No way to sell shelves. 100% should be able to.

You can pick them up with the "F" key and it will give you the option to place them down again. So just right click instead and will cancel putting it back down. Seems like once you purchase a shelf type, you can put multiples down of the same thing so I dont think you technically are charged anything for the shelves themselves, just the ability to have them.

You have to pay for each shelf type. If you no longer want one, you can simply pick it up and right-click (as you said) to place it back into your inventory.

But I believe you're mistaken when you said you aren't charge for additional shelves once you purchase a specific shelf type; I've purchased multiples of the same type from the PC and was charged accordingly.

The reason people would like the ability to sell shelving is whenever they upgrade from the 'small' version of a shelf type to a 'large' version; there's not much point in keeping smaller units once you've purchased enough large units. Just feels silly.

In that case, it would be nice to sell the smaller ones instead of constantly have them in your inventory.

I would like this feature as well, it's partly my fault as I am lazy but my mouse (Logitech G602) has a faulty switch that sometimes causes me to double click when I only press left click once and I have multiple shelves now sitting in my inventory I wasted money on

I have this issue at times too. Really sucks when it happens at the fuel pump. I'll click to begin fueling then instantly cut the fuel off.

Customer isn't too happy when that happens.
