We want to be sure all of you know our intentions.
We also always look around and see there is much activity in here, like always, and is much appreciated.
We don't want to destroy anybody's dream, but we need to be honest and realistic.
About co-op or multiplayer it's hard to say, there is a lot of interest from players while I don't think we will be able to implement it in this project, sadly.
Gas Station Simulator came to mind and got out as a Singleplayer Only title, and as such, it will probably remain forever like this.
There is another suggestion posted on our Discord Server, which.. if you did not alredy, get there (link at the end of this message).
That suggestion, would be a sort of "animal crossing style co-op", visiting the station of other players, as employee or NPC.
But, there are few problems: time, resources and plans.
When it comes to time, the team has alredy many plans, and we are trying to throw in also some smaller-mid suggestions/QoL Improvements that the community is asking about.
To implement a multiplayer aspect in a singleplayer game that has been thought as is, is not something easily doable, for many factors.
Bunch of things have alredy been reworked, and i'm talking about singleplayer only ones still, so to implement such thing, an absurd amount of time would be needed for the team, to not count the amount of things that needs to be altered/adjusted/changed or even added/removed.
To reach an end, if a Singleplayer Only game is wonderful and does work, this doesn't mean it will work for sure even in it's multiplayer/co-op mode, because it would change many things.
Would be much more easier to make a co-op mode like few games have, but i like to call that a fake co-op mode, where only the host can progress, unlock additional stuff and go forward even in Singleplayer, while the other doesn't get anything, sometimes not even achievements.
To wrap up my message, we would like to thank all of you guys, keep commenting and showing your interest about this particular argoment, and don't forget that we are always watching!
See you next time.
P.S.: Please, stay into the topic.
