lockpicking task stuck

Hello, just went back to this game and additionally purchased latest DLC and decided to start all over. There are those semi-tutorial tasks where u got to learn the game.
I am at the lockpicking task where u have to pickup lockpick from the back of that abandoned blue car and then go try the thing.
I have picked the lockpick and opened 10+ trunks but the game wont move from that, it will still show the market "?" on that blue car where lockpick was left, I took it, "?" marker still there.

and it will show me that red dot on bottom left to open inventory and red dot at lockpick aswell.
P.S. is there any chance I can disable autosave and make only manual ones?

You need to lockpick the car where you take lockpick. There are only autosaves and from menu where player can save by hand.

That's the problem - we CAN'T lockpick the car where we take the lockpick. I just posted the same thing. It won't let us lockpick. When you approach the car, it's not the trunk door (lid?) that's highlighted but the painting INSIDE the trunk.

Got the same problem here, the lockpicking mini game doesnt open so you cant progress….

The lockpicking certainly does WORK, cause I just tried lockpicking a customers car and it did start the lockpicking

For me it says "cannot be opened"

You can only do it once they have been fueled, but it doesn't fix the issue anyway
I tried to complete a lockpick (with a random car on the street) and it still doesn't let me lockpick the one thing I need
