The ice cream stand sucks! It is impossible to try and place a third scoop on a cone even if the spoon is cleaned. I had to abandon my ice cream stand.

Put an employee on it? The minigame is a little detailed, but you don't actually have to do it yourself.

It works fine with an employee, but I myself can't man it and get it to function properly.

This mini-game still sucks. To get the ice cream to drop onto the cone I seem to have to release both the space bar and lmb at the same time and its not very quick.

TBH, kinda wished theyd make it into a fancy/goofy automatic ice cream stand (as a final upgrade) that doesnt need an employee. With the introduction of restocking, none of my employees have time to mess with it.
