Gas Station Simulator

Gas Station Simulator

Good Lord...enough with the sand removal!
I JUST started this game. I am bummed that you really don't seem to have the freedom to do things in the order you'd like to. I would like to clean up the gas station, and surrounding areas, and do sand removal in between. But, having to remove the seemingly gazillion piles, and running out of gas in between EACH load is ridiculously time consuming, repetitive and boring AF. Is there ANY work around to this, or is this just something I have suffer through to get on with the rest of the game?

The trick to this is, start a new game but do not remove the pile of sand in front of the gas station until last. That way the station stays closed and you have all the time you want to get it ready. As long as that sand pile is in the front of the station, it won't open for business.

You only have to remove the sand on the roads at that part of the game, not the parking lots or other places.
Forgive me if this has already been answered, but the comments are not showing for me. However, two things:

1) You can toggle sandstorms off in the settings, and with it no new sand piles will form. Personally, I wish we could get the occasional storm effect without the responsibility, but it isn't worth turning the toggle back on since I also don't like being buried in sand. There is currently no better way to deal with sand accumulation besides Rudy with sandstorms active, though.

2) You don't actually have to remove as many as you think to have a functioning station. Especially if you are willing to resolve some traffic jams yourself with your trusty broom. Since I could never get ahead with sandstorms, I tried to coexist with them for a very long while and found that while there were crucial piles that screwed up traffic entirely there were also some piles that were basically decorative for how important they were to remove.

So don't feel like you have to remove them all at once! The only time I tried was when I was testing/eventually shut the toggle off and would not have to worry about accumulation again.

So, TLDR no you do not have to "suffer" through it for the rest of the game, but there currently is not anything better than just turning the accumulation off.
you can turn it off.
The guy says he's at the start of the game so sandstorms would not have started spawning yet. My guess is that there was one pile of sand on one of the roads he had not spotted so he started removing all the others.

THIS. I have been tediously removing all the stupid sand piles, because I can't seem to find the one on the road! I will have to go back and look tonight. I just got so bored with it, that I haven't played it in several days! I am female, btw. lol.

If you disable Sandstorms in the settings there are a total of 8 sand piles that you need to remove in game if you want to get all parking lots. (1 tutorial, 6 parking ones, 1 sandstorm event one) I believe (might be wrong for a few). Less if you are fine with less parking spots.

Aside from this - keep in mind that you can drive to the 'edge' of map in any direction to drop the sand, you don't have to drop it at Sand Deposit spot :)

Depends, think for example that you get Sandpile after a sandstorm in front of garage. It's closer to drive to the 'right' side [when facing the road] where most cars exit Gas Station and drop it there, rather than to the "sand deposit" spot. Ultimately it's about perception, personally drive it to sand deposit always but you know ... it's a desert, a little more sand somewhere else isn't going to make a big difference as long as it's not on the 'road' :D
