Something happened to my Rudy
I threw sand into the pit many times, but for some reason now the sand is not dumped, the sand bucket is raised up and does not work:VGRUMPY:

Had this as well. Restarting the game fixed the bug for me.

Resetting the bulldozer helped me, I hope you advised me this method of resetting?) At first I thought that you were advising me to reset the entire gameplay

Nah, only saving the game, exiting, and then loading your savegame again :)
